Arctic seed bank

The seed bank in the Arctic now totals over one million seeds. Today the seed bank is 10 years old. This ensures the diversity of the seed bank in the future against drought, climate change and other issues. Recent donations include "Cereal staples, unusual crops like the Estonian onion potato, and barley used to brew Irish beer". Donations are only allowed in twice annual (Today, Monday, is one of those days). Today's new donations include various rices, wheats, maizes, black-eyed peas and Barnbara groundnut (a drought tolerant African crop).
