Dark internet sites closed

Two dark sites, AlphaBay and Hansa, where illegal trade in "drugs, weapons, malware and stolen data" happened were closed down by law enforcement.  AlphaBay alone had more than 250,000 items on it when it shut down in July. Its users then discussed alternative dark sites to go to and many went to Hansa. The FBI, DEA, and Interpol were involved as were police in the Netherlands, Germany, UK, France.  Servers were confiscated in Germany, the Netherlands and Lithuania. Police hope many related investigations will lead to "significant" incarcerations. Read more about it here http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-40670010
