ongoing debate mostly about encryption

Ongoing debate continues about media giants cracking down on terrorism spreading over the internet and limiting "safe spaces" for terrorists, but not limiting general freedoms. The giants believe they are making progress and reacting but sometimes it takes time, more time than the government wants them to take. The issue is complex. They want specific direction from the government, insisting that not all sermons by radicals are full of hate or supporting terrorism. Politicians want encryption ended so terrorists can't used it, but not so it will be weakened for others, which is more problematic. Additionally, the tech giants believe this will speed the pace with which terrorists are moving into other darker communication options.  What is certain, is that this debate is going to painfully continue.
