Tuesday May 2nd is the scheduled exam time for Marian’s HST 583 Archives Administration class. This year I had 21 students. They are completing their final project, which is processing a .5 cubic foot box of Charles S. Bliss lumber company records. This year the class has processed 11.75 cubic feet (in 27 boxes and 5 folders) of records, 1902-1904. They withdrew approximately 3 cubic feet of peripheral and miscellaneous materials during processing. When completely processed these newly processed records will join the nearly 30 cubic feet (in 70 boxes and 8 folders) that has already been processed.I'll post again when all their boxes are completely processed and labeled.
|Here's what the boxes started out looking like.|
