Circus route books to be digitized

I'm excited to see the Milner Library at Illinois State University, which has a fabulous collection on circus and allied arts, with a great focus on circus fliers, is digitizing their collection of route books. This will help make it easier to research circus history. Over the next three years, more than 300 circus route books dating from 1842 to 1969 will be digitized with a $268,000 grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources.
