Processing room adding film/digital section!

So the processing room is changing significantly for the first time since 2001. We finally got a new electrical outlet where we can plug in our film projectors and a light and our beta station to convert our beta videos to digital. We've had most of the beta video station equipment from University Communications since Feb. 2016, but have just gotten another monitor and got it hooked up. The equipment is state-of-the-art 1990s industrial grade. Very nice. It allows us to look at the info on the beta, make a digital copy and name it, and store it, except I'm nearly out of storage.  Now all we are waiting for are some room dividers to separate a section of the processing room into the film/digital section. Then, a group of us need to get IT to agree that the university's historical digital records need storage space on the server and I shouldn't have to pay for it. We'll see how that works out. Meanwhile, the room will soon be changed. Here are some pics
