Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Weaver papers, the Court of Appeals series

Jen Bentley has begun her internship processing one of the series of Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Weaver, the Court of Appeals series, which includes approximately 15 cubic feet.  We have worked out the processing plan. After completing processing and rehousing, Jen will write up the Box and Folder listing and Scope and Content Notes. Then she and I will review and adapt the processing plans she used for other students to process the remaining series in the future. The collection will be processed by numerous students over time. The entire collection totals 333 boxes and appproximately the same amount of cubic feet, some boxes being bigger than others. Not only does this collection document how the Michigan Supreme Count operates, how one justice arrived at her opinions, but also includes other Michigan court systems and materials related to Leelanau. Go Jen!
