mass grave in Paris under store

200 men, women, and children were found buried underneath a supermarket in Paris. Well, chronologically speaking, the people died  first, apparently in some heath problem, a famine or plague or epidemic, as one large grave contains 150 densely-packed skeletons. Then, over time, the building was built over the burial ground attached to a hospital founded 1200 years ago. The hospital was destroyed 600 years ago. Archaeologists asked to check in the basement and see what they found.  They say the graves help them understand burial practices from 600-1200 years ago.
