FB says we should have done it differently but no apology

Remember the news that Facebook had emotionally manipulated 700,000 people without their consent? (See my blog of July 1st on the topic.) Apparently, they took quite a hit for that from FB users. Collecting buying data and preferences is one thing in a business oriented communication site, but manipulating as they did, for their own experimentation, is not ethical. FB admits that the company should have informed people and acted differently but doesn't really apologize in this article from the BBC. No surprise there, really.
