facial recognition has a new use

Facial recognition software has a new use- identifying who is who in art. Example shown-Death mask of Lorenzo DiMedici is used to recognize his face in paintings, etc. I know we've had situations where we wonder, is that so and so in that image?  Now, using facial recognition you can tell for sure who it is, unless we are talking twins.
